ting : {Sabrina + Jordan}

There is one scene I’ll forever remember from this wedding.
The moment when Sabrina’s father handed her to Jordan in church, he teared, and repeated a single sentence many times in a low trembling voice, “pls take care of her, take good care of her…” Seeing him looks so small besides the tall, strong and young groom, holding his beloved daughter, something warm remained in my heart, and  moved me deeply…
I teared too.

What do you see, in a special day like this?

kai | Justin & Davinia

I have been meaning to post images from Justin & Davinia’s wedding some time back, but tasks and work don’t always follow a chronological order as i sometimes wish they do. =)

It was a really beautiful wedding. The details were well-thought out, and the day was blessed. The Holy Matrimony was held outdoors, with a gazebo near Capella’s poolside and guests were presented with white laced brollies for shade, as well as a program list thoughtfully shaped into a fan. While the late morning sun seemed to heat up the crowd, who can resist looking at clear blue skies and white clouds and not feel happy?

Being so careful with the planning & details, Davinia really surprised me with the amount of effort she puts in, i don’t think she had missed out anything or anyone. The celebration was kept small & comfortable, so both Justin & Davinia could afford to spend time with each of their family & friends. So comfortable that Justin brought out a mock oscars trophy and began thanking everyone when delivering his speech. Haha.

Enjoy the images!

ting: {Brenda + Samuel} – life in grandpa’s house

A Morning . A Journey

A month after dear Brenda & Samuel’s very inspiring wedding, we just had an awesome morning today, at Samuel’s grandpa’s gorgeous 120 year old house. It was simply a purely joyful gathering, with two beautiful couples: Brenda & Samuel, Brenda’s younger sister Rachel, & Rachel’s love one Kheng. I enjoyed every single minute with these people whom i call friends, that i could not help to work on the images right after returning home, to share with everyone of you the love journey we experienced this morning.

Bren & Sam are currently living there before their new house is ready. The moment i saw them in the house today, there was instantly a strong feeling of the grandpa’s blessing. He must be smiling from heaven and still shielding his young grandson and his beloved wife. The window below the wall clock where two of them were standing in front of, used to be the spot where Sam’s grandma waited there everyday, to welcome her love ones coming home, when they appeared in her sight from the path below. I was literally delighted and amazed by every little thing in this house, and i felt they are just all treasures, and more than any treasures.

1st time when i came here during their wedding day, it was a beautiful house. 2nd time which is today, it is a home.:)

kai | brian & felise

i knew from our first meeting, that brian & felise’s wedding will be easily different from most. the duo is fun-loving and felise is just such a cheery lady she makes the mood very easy and light. i almost wanted to ask if she was a Sunday baby. =)  she reminds me of a little girl, ready to jump on to anything that promises fun. and i do believe she has that little girl in her. And brian, i think he enjoys being the partner-in-crime. Both of them share a love of beer.and beer makes everything naiseerrrh rin peeekchuurs. burrp.

love,

kai
